Damn, I was just watching the Upcoming episode (#163) with him recording the drums for Kobushi Factory's "Ashita no Watashi wa Kyou Yori Kirei" two hours ago.

From another thread…

I’ve just had a thought: how much of that Alabama accent is her real accent? I’ve said before that I think she deliberately over-enunciates English like a TOEFL instructor, and that she does so to make herself easier to understand among native Japanese who learned minimal English in school. Maybe I was right about the over-enunciation but for the wrong reason. Maybe she does it to hide her natural Alabama accent.

The haikei_harusenpai Instagram account (still run by Wani Books as far as I know) has been quite active lately. Posting images of Kudo's previous PB's.

I wonder if they might be teasing something?

From another thread:

This reminds me, remember when H!P released a Morning Musume single and album, and hANGRY&ANGRY albums stateside? ... and was there maybe an official Berryz release, too?

edit:
Without much hunting, found the Berryz and Momusu albums. Weird time in H!P history.

Yeah, you could even buy the hANGRY & ANGRY CD at Hot Topic!

I have the Morning Musume & Hangry & Angry one. Just bought them straight from Amazon. First physical H!P discs I ever owned.

The only one of the JapanFiles U.S. releases that I bought was hANGRY & ANGRY's Kill Me Kiss Me, since I usually had the Japanese editions already. But I bought a lot of other stuff through JapanFiles and HelloStoreUSA in those days: concert t-shirts, photo sets, photobooks, etc.

The topic of American H!P releases reminds me of a dream I had on December 18, 2005: I was in a record store, where they had the first album by a Hello! Project group ever to be released in America — on vinyl! The sleeve was rather boring, blue and red, with the name of the group, VIYUDEN, in big white letters across the front. I thought it was a very stupid marketing tactic not to have the girls’ pictures on the cover!

My pointless musing of the day: watching the winter tour press conference…

viewtopic.php?p=249573#p249573

…I'm impressed all over again by how charming and well-spoken Yuhane is. Get her more acting work. Now.

Of course H!P members tend to be well-spoken, compared to most idols from other agencies. That's part of what makes Up-Front a classy operation. But Yuhane has a little something extra, in my opinion, especially for someone who is still relatively new to the business.
