Finally got the single on my iPhone!

Also I’ve hated the tags for years. I can’t remember which year any of the damn songs came out and can never find them on my phone. I end up having to search each year individually to see if it’s there. Do you know how hard it is to build a playlist? Not to mention half of the time they are listed in Japanese (モーニング娘) and the other half are in English (Morning Musume) which are in opposite ends of the artist list when scrolling...

Don’t let me get started on trying to find a C-ute song on my phone. I have no clue how to make the Celsius degree thing and scrolling to find it is so annoying.

Finally got the single on my iPhone!

If you are using iCloud Music Library to make your library available across devices, then you should be able to use iTunes on the desktop to edit the Sort As tags on all of those songs. It works even for purchased/downloaded songs; your personal library settings override the store's default settings, in most cases. (Cover artwork can be a little wonky.)

For example, in my library, the Artist tags for the individual songs are set to モーニング娘。'19, モーニング娘。'18, モーニング娘。'17, and so on, but the Sort As tags for all of the songs are set to "Morning Musume" (romanized, no punctuation, no year).

Same for other H!P groups — Artist is ℃-ute, Sort As is "Cute". And for that first character…

I wasn't a fan at first of the jumpy aspect but it's grown on me. I kind of hear it like it's a mash up of Berryz' Ichioku Sanzenman Sou Diet Oukoku with a typical platinum era type song, along the lines of Aishite Aishite Ato Ippun

I’m starting to like Seishun Night more than Jinsei Blues. I did not think that would happen but I expect nothing less from Tsunku. He’s a grower not a shower.

Jinsei Blues is such a jam but wtf is up with the line distribution? They have 11 total girls yet they give 5 out of 6 solo lines to Mizuki. It's one thing if they give an overwhelming amount to someone with exceptional vocals like Sakura, but giving the majority to Mizuki seems excessive.
