I was just browsing through Japanese TV shows on Netflix, and I stumbled across a reality dating show called REA(L)OVE. Not the sort of show I'd normally watch (which is why I didn't notice it before), but the co-host is Yaguchi Mari!

Okai still couldn't do falsetto in her last year as C-ute (2017), but somehow finally managed to start learning how to last year, it seems. Damn. It's almost a miracle.
Starts to break down and gets iffy as the song progresses, but still that goes to show, some things can be done if given time. She sang this song as a duet with Suzuki in 2016 & 2017 and it was still the same old Chisato at the time (good on verse, struggling mightly in chorus w/ singing flat, crack, falsetto).

Now if only Suzuki can learn how to do vibrato.

Today, Former Morning Musume member and actress Kudo Haruka was awarded the excellent prize of "BLOG of the year 2018" from Ameba, for which her blog got the most attention in 2018. She attended a ceremony in Tokyo to receive her award. Kudo Haruka, who plays Lupin Yellow Ranger in the Super Sentai series "Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger", will air its last episode this weekend. Every time Kudo blogged about her stories with the cast of the show, mothers and kids enjoyed and loved reading it and her fan base kept growing.
