So, is this a typo or what?

I know ん can be read as both n" and "m", but I've only ever seen her name romanised as Danbara, until now.
In the past I've seen similar confusion with Sonim and V-uden.

I've always seen both so I've been afraid to ever spell her name out. H!O and the wiki spell it Dambara but I mostly see Danbara.

http://helloproject.wikia.com/wiki/Dambara_Ruru had this note in it:

" Prior to 2018, her name was romanized as "Danbara Ruru." On March 30, 2018, she made a blog stating that her last name will officially be romanized as "Dambara" 2018 onwards. She states that it'll be easier for international fans to read and that it's also the romanization the official government uses."

"v-u-den", with the hyphens and lower-case letters, was a stylistic choice by Tsunku himself or someone else at Up-Front trying to be like Tsunku. The official name of that group was always 美勇伝 (bi yuu den), as shown on most of the CD covers.

To elaborate on Rysaria's post, here's the official blog post from March: https://ameblo.jp/juicejuice-official/e ... 62683.html

Ahh, interesting that they officially changed it from one to another. I didn't expect that.
Personally, I prefer Danbara, but whatever.

I appreciate the links Rysaria and Moh

As for v-u-den, in the earlier days I remember seeing enough people use b-u-den (don't remember exact spelling, but using a "b" instead of a "v" is my point), and that had me really confused back then.
