It seems so strange that media isn't covering Kago's return after a thousand years of nothing. It's throwing me off a little. Maybe we'll get something about the new groups since they're filming for the DVD. I doubt it, but it would be nice.

You know, I had a rant prepared on yet again having no news about the new groups but instead I'll just grumble quietly in the corner.
Someone come get me if it ever happens.

Perhaps the whole "Kago's return to H!P after 12+years" may be a big (huge!) deal in this fandom and a selected few in bubble, but probably not among the general public and media.
At least not enough to bring in media group again and report it all over morning shows - they already did that a few weeks ago when Da Pump showed up - with "Ichii's H!P comeback after 18 years" as a sideshow.

H!P has its dedicated fans but is it relevant enough to create two separate media events within one H!P biannual concert period? Well evidently not.
Goto's first H!P appearance since 2007 got as much publicity as Kago's, I'd say. She did appear a couple of times in Dream MM's concerts and performed with MM OGs in other times but I think this was her first appearance back in a H!P concert in 11 years.

Cmon guys, Aibon make a comeback is enough for all haropro fans. Is it covered by media or not, doesn't really matter. You know last time media covered harocon (2ki), due to Da Pump, that's it. Let's move forward for closing harocon in Hiroshima, i predict there are some great news there.

I'm just puzzled by some folks being really surprised by the lack of general media coverage on Kago/Goto's comeback is all.
They are unfortunately has-been former idols with years removed from their peak popularity - like many before them and surely many after. Certainly not relevant anymore in grand scheme of things, to generate some national news - unless of course short of a big negative scandal, which always has its audience. Nothing new here, folks.
