This is actually a really good Berryz Kobo performance (although all of the Real Berryz Kobo performances were really great). I'm not a huge fan of her, but Yurina .

It's not that I dislike J=J, its just that im longing for their original style (...and Aina T.T). Its like how people miss 4 nin smileage but still like the new songs.
KAE-DID IT!!! I am proud to have kept her KSS photo as my avatar since Feb 2, 2014, three years ago!!!
I'd love to hear Maachan perform this song again now that she's improved so much. I still can't believe that she got a solo in that changing slot for that concert, though I remember be so ecstatic and happy (I had just fallen in love with her voice so I was excited to here any line from her, so an entire song was like gold). I hope she gets another solo in the upcoming tour, even if it's for a changing slot like for Colorful Characters.
Like my love of Maachan started from picking out her voice in One Two Three and wondering which girl that was and then I learned her personality and it snowballed from there.
^ I'd love it if she inherited that song tbh. It's such a good bop, and was short lived with Aika graduating earlier than expected. Easily in my top 10 MM songs of all time.
Meh, while it's a great song and Maa performs it well, for me it the reason why it's great is because of the fact that it's a song about a girl's qualities not being recognized by her boyfriend/others and it was sung by Aika. If that doesn't hit close to home, I don't know what does.
It's a similar reason why so many of Sayu's solo's were great. They told narratives about the singer that held true (or at least the public's perceptions of the singer).
I'd rather see an Aika-ish girl sing Watashi no Miryoku, like Zukki, because while Maa is talented no body is not noticing her.
In the same vein I think it'd be interesting to watch Duu sing some Sayu solo's since they're playing up Duu's narcissism as of late.
