It would. That why I always like when members do blog post to show they are reading fan letters. Even though I don't send any it's nice to see the girls take time out of their day to receive the fans words. I bet it must be hard for the really popular girls who get tons of letters though.

Yeah, it would be a hassle for them. Even I don't harbor any illusions about Riho reading that many fan letters.

But when they do (and when they talk about it), it's the greatest feeling in the world knowing that your idol is making an effort to hear what her fans have to say.

I imagine the staff probably filters those letters in order to weed out some hate mail or the creepy ones though.
