I'm not really big on all those conspiracy theories (although some are pretty interesting to read), but it makes sense for them to continue their media carpet bombing since the famous members are starting to graduate one by one. They are still everywhere and I don't think they'll fall off any time soon, but I have to admit, they ARE starting to lose a little luster. Whether that is due to the graduations, the scandals, or some people simply getting tired of seeing them, I really don't know.

From what I've seen, it's mainly that people are getting bored. Generally the singles all follow a yearly pattern: a spring/sakura single→summer single (with election voting tickets)→single with an English title→super cool single→janken single. Rinse, lather, repeat.

But with all these girls graduating, fans are losing their oshis (especially since it's the more popular members at the moment) so that's not helping.

The spring/sakura single is almost always about graduating from school (duh), the summer single ALWAYS features a bikini PV, the single with an english title is the one that follows the election and has such has the most popular member as center, the cool single is usually the only single i enjoy (lol) no more seriously the cool single has really, really complex choreography, then yeah there is the janken single. So the next single should be the bikini single in may.

The interesting stuff is in the b-sides, which thankfully have PVs, and in the sister groups.

but yeah seeing a lot of the first 3 gens go hurts, but there are still a decent number of girls from gen 4-5-6 that people know very well. hopefully at the very least the remaining 1st gen members should stick around for a while, and HOPEFULLY Miichan can survive her scandal and not lose all her fans, and get back in the group soon enough.

On another note entirely; I sort of want to start making release threads for the singles and a bit more threads here, I know it's not very active but at least, we can try??

Is that okay? I'm going to do it and Zunu can scold me if it isn't~

I finally listened to "So long!" and I actually like it a lot. I tend to like their spring singles.
