I actually like it a lot. The regular DualShock is a bit small, the new sticks look much better and hopefully the new d-pad is also better.

I've watched Watch Dogs (no pun intended) and killzone for PS4 and those look spectacular, there are some more videos released.

You can check em on HD at http://www.gametrailers.com/
if you log in with your twitter or FB account you can even download those videos on HD

New trailers for Shin Megami Tensei IV and Monster Hunter 4.

Honestly, if this generation is a repeat of last one then my 3DS collection is going to own hard my PS4 and WiiU collections.

Eh, I haven't the time or the money for this lol. I'll stay a generation behind as usual.

They announced the PS4 and didn't even show us the actual console? Lame.

It's probably going to be huuuuuuugeee. And since it lacks backwards compatibility you'll need plenty of space for both gargantuan consoles, and two free HDMI ports on top of that.

No backwards compatibility, but they're claiming they'll have online streaming for gen 1-3 on their cloud. Probably out of luck if you own physical copies of the games, though, hmm?

Now I feel bad for anyone who shells out money for it.

I haven't really played any video games in a while. Not that I don't want to, but games are expensive, yo.

^ rent, buy used, borrow :D

And yeah, on the PS4 you can only play previous consoles games by streaming them. The Ps4 has dedicated video and game streaming hardware in it, so you can make a video of what you're playing without the gameplay being affected .

The CPU is gonna be an octa-core x64 AMD CPU and an AMD (previously ATI) GPU, but no further technical details were given (I know, you don't care jack about this). But given that current-gen consoles like the XBOX360 and PS3 can still deliver some impressive graphics after all this time, there's no worries that these new consoles (given that Microsoft is releasing the next xbox soon) will last as much as the current ones (6-7 years). It's a good investment I think.

I'm really, really not interested in streaming any games. I'll keep my PS3

And while the games shown do indeed look above anything PS360 can do, I have to say long gone are the days of absolutely insane leaps like SNES to N64 or even PS1 to PS2. Which is why Sony's emphasis was clearly on services and features - I think that's a good thing.
