Never played that either, but I've only ever heard good things about it.

Edit: "American Idol"
Spoiler: show
Nicki.. are you.. are you actually a kind of becoming a good judge, with legitimate feedback/advice to give? When did this happen? Where were you hiding this part of yourself?

I expect to see Matheus on "X Factor" or "The Voice" next year since he didn't make it.
Curtis Finch Jr. needs to tone it the heck down and stop being so dramatic.
Papa Peachez is gone, finally. ("This just isn't the competition for me, I just don't like singing other people's songs" - no televised singing competition is ever going to let you sing your own songs 100% of the time, Mr. Peachez.)
Charlie Askew (Ask..yew? I don't remember) was interesting.

I expect the girls to be a lot more entertaining. I really hope they are.

Super Mario RPG tends to be nostalgia-ed hard for some reason, but in reality I don't find it to be any better than the Paper Mario and Mario & Luigi games, which have much more creative battle systems, charm and humor to them. I guess it's the "Final Fantasy meets Mario" feel what people miss. I played it back in the day and also quite recently, and it's really not something that I'd consider better than Bowser's Inside Story, Super Star Saga, The Thousand-Year Door or Paper Mario 64 speaking of Mario RPGs.

Well yeah it's an old game. That's why people want a more modern one. Hence the demand for a sequel or a remake.

What I mean by "nostalgia-ed hard" is that people tend to think it's much better than recent Mario RPGs just because it's old. Really, play through it again and compare it objectively with Bowser Inside's Story or The Thousand-Year Door, that's simply not the case. Again, it's also perceived as "special" because it was a pretty uncommon collaboration between Nintendo and Square Enix - which is probably why we won't ever see a remake, ownership issues must be all over the place.

I knew what you meant. I was trying to say that it's not nostagia'd hard. It's not the Tekken 2 of Mario RPGs. It's remembered that fondly because it was that amazing.

I'd honestly rank them like this:
The Thousand-Year Door > Paper Mario 64 > Bowser's Inside Story > Superstar Saga > Super Mario RPG > Partners in Time.

With Partners in Time being the only non-great game. And not counting Super Paper Mario and Sticker Star because they're not really RPGs.

Tyrion's little smile at the end makes it perfect. Blink and you'll miss it.

Spoiler: show
Two, maybe three of these characters will be dead by the end of the season. (I say "maybe three" because they're splitting the book into two seasons, and we don't know where exactly the split is.) Readers of the books know who, but can the non-readers guess?

Dear Literary/TV Gods, I really hope it's King McDouchebag.

Or/and his mother.
