My friends and I used to make fmvs for anime and tokusatsu in college. It's... not as easy at it looks and very time consuming, it was only possible for us because we were masters of procrastinating back then lol

My biggest pet peeve with AMVs is when people use clips with subtitles. It's very distracting and generally it's not that hard to find raws (or at least .mkvs) nowadays.

Oh I know that fanvids takes ages to make, especially those that have more than 4 clips involved.
But, to be fair it's difficult to make a GOOD and INTERESTING fanvideo with just 3-4 clips... just saying. xD
