I don't see why people are upset. I always look at sales number and divide by the number of people in the group. So Mano selling 10K is approximately the same as MM selling 110K which is approximately the same as ***48 selling 480K.

don't act so surprised lol. It's pretty much a given nowadays that any ***48 empire related sales are gonna be humongous
Still doesn't diminish H!P's own small steps forward and especially Morning Musume's momentum
though there sure are a lot of people who'd like to make you believe otherwise >___> goddammit after the weekly #1 articles made the rounds to yahoo top news a lot of trolls are jumping on MM threads in 2ch (esp Sayu's from what i see), most of them just got ignored though

This article from the Juukies Alo Hello PB release event mentioned Kuduu talking about how the teachers at her school called for an emergency morning assembly and there announced Morning Musume taking the Oricon weekly #1 to the entire student body and congratulated her.
That's pretty amazing

Another article praising the high level of the dance moves and formations .... and comparing it to other viral dubstep/dance vids ^^; ??

There is a way for Berryz to sell 70K but no one will like it so I will put it under spoilers:

Step 1: Bring back Yaguchi Mari.
Step 2: Have her start a new Berryz Workshop with a bunch of the most promising K-eggs.
Step 3: When they have hatched, have a mass graduation at BK keeping only Risako and Yurina.
Step 4: Bring in second gen BK.
