Wow, that's why I still belive that Morning Musume is the greatest idol group ever. Even though AKB48 outselled them, Morning Musume have been arround for over a decade and it's still able to make such a good comeback. I really belive this is going to be the year of MM <3.

I guess I like rooting for the underdogs anyway. Do you think AKB fans feel this happy when AKB gets a weekly #1? I wouldn't think so since its just expected at this point. They don't even have to work for it anymore. But our girls have been working there way back up and they've put in alot of effort. After becoming a fan through a period of declining sales then seeing the new gens become added to the group and watching those girls grow to now seeing the results of their hard work it's just a great feeling. I'm not sure AKB fans could ever relate.

I personally feel that there are AKB fans who still feel great whenever their single reaches number 1. But this kind of feeling is sweeter for us because we've been waiting for it for so long. The girls themselves work to the point of exhaustion and some of them fall sick already, but for them and for us, getting weekly number 1 makes it all worth it. I hope they take time to savor this new milestone in their careers. Yes, there's still a lot of work to be done, but they should be happy with the knowledge that they can reach number 1 again.
