So I love Happy Daisakusen.

So I moved to Madrid and havent had internet- AINT NOBODY GOT TIME FO DAT! - but I have just not gotten caught up on this single. Thoughts:

1. Why is it, regardless of a vocalists potential and talent, their first single always sounds like a screeching monkey? Maki - Ai - Reina - Riho - Sakura. Bleh.
2. LOVE the costumes.
3. The video...not as on balls fire amazing as people are making it seem. It's just green screen... give me a location shoot Tsunk.

I really love the Riho and Sakura song and because of the harmonizing Riho doesn't come off as too bad. Now I'm not one of those who hate her voice, just when it sounds bad, but I still don't think she's the best vocalist and she's no way near as good as Reina was in her 2nd year in Musume. She really is improving though so I hope it'll keep going that way.

Really wanna hear the other b-sides too now.

Love the b-sides, Sakura has been a great addition to the group.

I've been watching the dance shot version billion times, also I've been very impatient for the PV to arrive. It's pretty certain that out of their last three singles, this is the best one. Even though all of them have been pretty amazing in their own way.

Omg, I want their next album now.

The reason why Riho sounds so good in the Riho/Sakura song is because she never goes out of her range, which is actually pretty low. So she doesn't sound strained or screechy because she's singing in a comfortable vocal range.

I wish Tsunku would write more songs in Riho's range if he's going to insist on using her as the main singer

(Also PVs for these songs would make it known to the general public that there are a bunch of Bsides and they'd be more likely to buy it, I'm just sayin UF.)

So the PV looks better in HD, and from so many previews we've pretty much seen the whole PV.


Im content with everything but please get rid of the Close-up and 4-shot dance background, and the awkward and badly edited group shots in front of the CG backgrounds...

These shots just make the whole thing look bad and cheap.


Also WTAC's final MV is so good and underrated.

Happy Daisakusen is nice, but I don't like the Riho/Sakura song. Feels too slow.
