I haven't really followed this whole SATOYAMA business that closely, but GREEN FIELDS sound hella nice, and that girl is way cuter than she looks in still photos. Aika looks great too and of course Captain is teh esx.

The song is growing on me I guess. It still isn't that good of a song though. I like that Aika is singing again, but Miyazaki Yuka is kind of awkward looking don't you think? I didn't really pay attention to the S/mileage audition which explains why i have no attachment to anyone who auditioned... (and possibly why I find the new S/mileage hard to get into.)

^ i watched the S/mileage audition and still have a hard time getting into them.. i think it's just the dynamics of the group. either you like them or you don't really. i really really really tried to like this S/mileage, and at one point i got really close.. but never crossed over into "yeah, i like this S/mileage!" territory. it's more like "i don't mind this S/mileage" or "not as bad as i thought it would be" which is definitely not the same lol.

the Green Fields song sounds really nice recorded!! i was afraid i wouldn't like it cuz as much as i love Captain her voice can be odd, but this song seems to suit her. suits Aika's voice too, which is really rare for me to think. as for Miyazaki, she's more awkward that i realized from the S/mileage audition but i like that she was so amusing to Captain and Aika lol. i think i like that as a group dynamic, actually, the seasoned senpai being surprised and entertained (and brought together, seeing as how i don't think they were particularly close before this) by the antics of the newcomer.

During the audition Yuka always had this look on her face that made it seem like she was on the verge of crying or something. Maybe once she gets used to the attention/being behind a camera, her expressions will even out a bit more and it won't be quite as awkward.
