I actually like that song -- I like the arrangement, and the vocals that didn't sound obviously autotuned were OK. But I did hear too much autotune for my taste.
I've been wondering whether anyone on the technical/production/performance side of the music industry anywhere actually thinks that autotune actually sounds like a natural human singing voice. I know that people in the music industry are good at BSing themselves, but that's usually more on the promo side, where it's their job to say ridiculous things like they really believe them.
To me, autotune sounds like some really cheap, tacky audio effect from the 80s ("Maybe if we flange the vocals until it sounds like a robot, people won't notice how out of tune they are." ), which somehow made a comeback when nobody was looking.
