That might have been part of the problem -- if some of the judges wanted to favor one country, and some wanted to favor another, without even taking into account whether the girls from those countries were qualified or not. Sometimes that kind of pointless political game-playing can get in the way when it doesn't make any sense at all.

They've always in general seemed really boring and same-y to me (and their debut song was horrible).

Did they add a bunch of girls since they appeared with MM? Just looking at the freeze frame on that video it feels like they added more.
