It just hit me that the Pachinko PV must've been recorded WAYYYY in advance because it was pre-Reina's drastic haircut.

Did everyone else notice this way before me and just didn't comment about it/Did I just forget comments about it so this feels new to me?

i think it's not surprising to people because most things are recorded at least a month in advance, and when it comes to more complicated projects (dramas, or in this case a game) it would need to be done even earlier.

so most likely it just didn't strike most of us as odd and we didn't particularly make note of it other than possibly a mention in passing.

It must've been kept on the super DL then though because I feel like all of the girls could've blogged about seeing graduated/current members and stuff and doing work.


Also, I feel like the 5nin version is gonna blow the actual version out of the water...

I don't know. I finally got a chance to listen to The Matenrou Show Type-0 carefully and then compare it with the single version. There's almost no change to it besides Gaki singing some of Riho's lines (the rest were sung by someone with a Riho-like voice who I believe is Aika). I can't even tell if Takahashi Ai actually sang in it as people were saying in H!O.

So I guess this version is a treat to those who do prefer to hear Gaki instead of Riho. Other than that, just the same song. I waS disappointed only because I thought they'll use an earlier recording/version of the song or maybe even a re-record. Seems to me that they just recorded the Gaki and Aika vocals and re-used most of the Reina parts from the official version.
