Okay can you guys please shut up about the AKB fans? so someone commented that an AKB fan they know said something about this and people automatically go "omg, AKB fans are so stupid, why are the all so arrogant". Seriously people? Generalisation much? What are you, 10 years old? For fuck's sake. Grow up.

saying "AKB fans" doesn't automatically mean ALL AKB fans. after all, several people here are AKB fans as well (i myself have nothing against the group, and would probably still keep up with them if not for the fact that right now i'm behind on all my non-H!P jpop). it's not a generalization because we're not claiming all AKB fans are that way, it's just a fact that some AKB fans like to rub things in H!P fans faces for whatever reason, or put them down or minimize our accomplishments, and most if not all of us have run into those type of experiences on various mediums. i get it from my Twitter list every day, and these are people i actually get along with.

it's a perfectly legitimate comment, because it's something that happens every day. i also think that except for a couple people, the AKB bashing (at least around here) has died down a lot in the last year. i think we can talk about people that still refuse to acknowledge H!P without being needing to "grow up".

i love that you feel the need for sarcasm. so i guess instead of hoping that you'd give me the benefit of the doubt, i'll just go ahead and add that when i made my long post i had just finished reading the last two pages of comments. Ayu's comment of what Roy responded to an AKB fan that was scoffing, along with what i had just been reading from my Twitter list is what lead me to making that comment.

so saying "AKB fans" was more of a subconscious reference to the fact that i was thinking specifically of what i had heard from my Twitter friends AS WELL as what has apparently been the same reaction from a person i have no connection with, not in fact a blanket statement that i'm making about all AKB fans.

sometimes it helps to consider that there may be context involved. didn't realize you'd need an explanation in order to not accuse me of an implication i'm very aware was not my intention. Oo;
