Not really a ranking, just opinions on the voices/singing right now. I can't put them in order until I hear more of the 10th generation, so it's arranged according to age.
Michishige Sayumi: The worst of the worst. She has improved a lot, though, no doubt about that.
Tanaka Reina: The best of the best.
She was amazing during the play.
Iikubo Haruna: She’s not the worst, but she sounds like a 90-year-old woman to me.
Fukumura Mizuki: For a while, her singing was really boring, but now she’s finally starting to put more power and emotion into it. I was really worried because some people never learn to do that.
Ishida Ayumi: During the auditions, she was really flat and shouty, and neither of these things has gone away. I like her voice, though. If she improves, I could be a big fan of her singing. I just don’t know how much she's capable of improving, considering her age and level of experience.
Ikuta Erina: She’s a mess, but I think she’s improved a little. I wonder if she can become semi-decent.
Sayashi Riho: She has improved tremendously. But she still sounds very strained and nasal and kind of ... obnoxious. Still, there are some very good things about her singing (for example, she puts a lot of energy/force into it; that’s probably what Tsunku likes). I think she should get a good amount of lines, but I don’t think she’s strong enough to be a
lead singer. She sounded like she was really struggling in TMS.
Suzuki Kanon: I like how deep and powerful it is, but her way of singing is very grating.
Satou Masaki: Kind of like Riho (thin, nasal, strained), but a little less obnoxious. And it's really cute.
Kudou Haruka: I think she has what it takes to become a great singer; like Tsunku said, she just needs more confidence.
