Ogata Risa will be leaving J.P. Room / Upfront on September 30th.

She has asked us for advice regarding her future singing career, and we have come to this decision out of respect for her desire to challenge her own potential in a new environment.

I will be leaving J.P. Room as of September 30th, 2024. I apologize for this sudden notice.

I entered the entertainment industry in 2010, and this year marks my 15th year.
This year marks exactly 10 years since I joined Upfront Group in 2014.
At the age of 25, a milestone in my life, I have decided to make a big decision.

I am very grateful to have been able to work with the support of so many people.
I will never forget everything I have gained from this place and will continue to devote myself to it as I always have.

I would like to continue my musical activities in the future, and I hope to see you again when the day comes when we can meet.

Oh...okay...I'll miss her. hope she comes back soon. I really do understand making moves at her age and all, 25 is an age where you take stock and make decisions no way around that, I was just getting comfortable with the flow. At least I can be happy she capped off her time there with a really well-made album.

Oh. I was glad she was able to make a comeback even though I haven't really liked any of her releases. I wish her all the best! Also, I'm sad Risa and Nechin will never be able to perform under M-Line together (assuming it would have happened of course).
