Miyamoto and Miyazaki both graduated at Budokan. So I don’t see what the big deal is. It’s a special place to them. It may have lost its luster due to the fact they seem to always go there these days. But it’s still a big accomplishment. I'd be more upset about Yuhane graduating at a rinky dink little venue instead of some place that can only fit about 3K people.

FM OSAKA and Juice=Juice will have a public recording event to commemorate Uemura Akari's graduation called "FM OSAKA x Juice＝Juice ~U-story~"

FM Osaka will hold an event featuring Juice=Juice <FM OSAKA x Juice=Juice ~U-story~> at WW Hall (COOL JAPAN PARK OSAKA) on April 29th.

FM Osaka has hosted many Juice=Juice programs and events, including "52OSAKA~Girls Castle~" held at Osaka-jo Hall in 2023.

Uemura tweeted on her blog, "I want to perform live again with a view of Osaka Castle." This event was planned to realize her wish before her graduation. This will be a special event created by leader Uemura Akari, the members, listeners, and fans.

This will be the last time Uemura will appear in a public recording event with Juice=Juice.

We will deliver precious talks and a special live performance only for this event.

Juice=Juice leader Uemura Akari...last stage at Budokan next month

Uemura Akari (25), the leader of Hello! Project's popular female group Juice=Juice, will graduate from the group in June. We spoke with Uemura, who says she has "done everything without regret," and her junior member, Ebata Kisaki (17), who has placed her trust in her.

Junior, Ebata Kisaki : "Stay focused, stay together."

Juice=Juice boasts high performance in both singing and dancing and currently consists of 11 members.
Uemura, who is from Osaka and was the "youngest" at the time of her debut, has grown into a leader of the group, having performed at the Nippon Budokan and gone on a world tour.
Last August, 10 years after its formation, Uemura announced her graduation. She says, "I have been thinking about graduation ever since I took over as leader."

She made an effort to report to the members in a cheerful mood. Ebata, who is from Kyoto in the Kansai region just like Uemura and is a good friend, said, "She is a kind senior member who listens to me seriously when I ask her for advice. I had been bracing myself for her graduation at any moment, but now it's finally happened."

The single released in May included the urban "Tokyo Blur" as well as the cute "Naimono Love" and "Oaiko". In addition, Uemura's solo song "Brilliance of memories" was included.

In the production of the song, Uemura and Aoi Yamazaki, who wrote the lyrics and composed the music, had a frank discussion about various topics, including Juice=Juice, herself, the past, and the future...... The resulting lyrics were lined with positive words such as "Light will be my path" and "Illuminate the journey far and wide." Uemura said, "The name ‘Akari’ was given to me so that I could shine brightly ahead. When I heard it, I was emotionally touched. I think of it as a gift."

The final concert tour has already begun, with the final day, "Graduation Special," scheduled for June 14th at the Nippon Budokan in Tokyo. That time is just around the corner.

Ebata said, "This is the last time I can be with Uemura-san in this place, this time, this air, and everything. I want to work hard without losing concentration even for a moment. Uemura said, "When I look at all the members beside me, I feel that their hearts have become stronger. I hope you can feel the present Juice=Juice and the future Juice=Juice," smiles Uemura.

Uemura says she will continue her entertainment activities. I've put so much into the group that I don't know what my strengths will be when I become just "Uemura Akari,” she said. "I would like to search for it from now on," she said with a refreshed expression.

In commemoration of Juice=Juice leader Uemura Akari's graduation, Juice=Juice members went to Funabashi Andersen Park in Funabashi City, Chiba Prefecture.
The Juice=Juice members made memories together by barbecuing, riding boats, interacting with animals, making candles, and more.

DISC 2 includes a long interview with Uemura Akari. There are also messages from the members.

Kawashima Mifu is absent for the park filming, but did record a message for Uemura Akari in Disc 2.
