Thank you for your continued support of Up Up Girls.
We would like to inform you that Sekine Azusa, a member of Up Up Girls, will graduate from the group on December 30th, 2023.
She has been a member of the group for about 13 years since its formation, and has been running the group for about 3 years since she became the leader under the new organization,
However, after discussing with Sekine herself about her future, she has decided that she would like to settle things once and for all and concentrate on her recuperation.
We are planning to have a greeting on stage after the second part of "Up Up Girls 2023 LIVE La la la la LAST DANCE" on December 30th (show starts at 5:30 pm).
After graduation, we will continue to rest and recover.
Although her activities after graduation are undecided at this time, she would like to hold an event where she can greet everyone in a dignified manner,
Depending on her health condition, we hope to be able to inform you of her graduation event.

I am truly sorry for this sudden turn of events and report.
Since I became the leader, I have often had to leave the group due to my frequent health problems, and I have had fewer opportunities to deliver a complete Up Up Girls to everyone.
I am most disappointed in myself. I am really disappointed that I could not support myself well.
I have gone from a position where I was originally dependent on the members to one where I was relied on more and more, and as I became more responsible, the pressure that I put on myself gradually increased.
In the midst of all this, I gradually became unsure of how to support myself, and I felt lost, so I consulted with Yamada-san, which is what led me to this decision.
What I have written here is all there is, so it would be very helpful if you could not speculate or imagine anything from this text and let it become the truth.
The truth is all here!
Since joining Up Up Girls, I have met so many people and spent so much time with them, and I have been so happy.
The things I have learned and experienced here are truly precious treasures.
Miiko, Ayano, Saki, Konacchan, Akari, Mana, Yurika, Meina, Sumire, Ayu, Yume, Seina, Haruka. The members are too important and precious to me.
I named them "Upu-Ga Family" because they are always warm and like a family!

I will miss her like I miss the rest, but it will be good to see the "newbies" work by themselves (they already do) and see what the releases will be like.

From what I see on X, it seems she will perform with the others on her graduation concert. I don't know if she will have limited movements or not though

And I could be wrong, but I really hope I'm not. Just wished they would release something like an album or best album compiling all the stuff released with the 2nd gen
