OCHA NORMA Hiromoto Ruli is selected to be featured in BLT magazine's "20±SWEET 2024 JANUARY" issue. 10 beautiful women of "age 20" are photographed in kimono and furisode (long-sleeved kimono). Release is December 25th.




"20±SWEET 2024 JANUARY", a new "sweet" style photobook featuring high quality photogravures and interviews with idols who are in the "Hatachi" age group, will be released on December 25th. The second lineup of the book has just been announced, featuring Honoka Hirao (Hinatazaka46), Yoruka Yamashita (Hinatazaka46), Wakana Sumino (NMB48), Hiromoto Ruli (OCHA NORMA), Hana Ogi (≠ME), and Usa (#BABABAMBI), making for a complete lineup.

Hiromoto Ruli from OCHA NORMA, which will release its long-awaited first album "CHAnnel #1" (Channel One) in January next year, appears in this issue, photographed at school and in the beautiful autumn foliage to capture her "now" as she turns 20 years old. The photogravure is filled with Hiromoto's dainty appearance and the beauty of the adult woman she has become.

ANGERME Goto Hana discovered a new skill


Hana has to push herself to wake up early for school and work, even though she is not a morning person. She gets up at the last minute. On days off, she sleeps all day. But some days, she just feels motivated to wake up.

She thinks she is getting skilled at waking up on time in the train. She tends to oversleep, because being on the train makes her sleepy, so she has to set an alarm for herself. But she discovered she has a sixth sense of when to wake up at the exact station.

Interesting that she says that she's become attuned to the smell of her station, that's unexpected! When I used to ride the subway home from work I concluded that each station approach had a unique sound and jerk/vibration profile and that my mind eventually would automatically train itself wake up to the one that corresponded to my station. So I think whether it's smell, sound, or some other sensation, our brains are just instinctively adept at picking up on very subtle cues to wake up. It's probably the same when waking in the morning 30 seconds before the alarm goes off.

She says on her day off she'd like to try sleeping right past her stop and letting the train just carry her around and around (on the Yamanote line, which takes about an hour to make a continuous looping circuit through Tokyo).
