Hello! Study Abroad Channel (24 Mar 2023)
Keep eating, and answer even more viewer questions…
Hi, I'm Saki Nakajima.
Indeed.
This is the hard part, isn't it? LOL
In a way, I was lucky this time.
I've been bringing you two a week lately because…
• We talk too much, and
• It keeps me more focused to edit 10 minutes separately than to edit 30 minutes.
Please feel free to listen to it like a radio show.
Thank you for your continued support!
~
This is Chisaki Morito.
I don't know what I've said or not said so far, and I remember it at odd moments. LOL
I'm the type of person who is not good at talking about myself…
Please take a look!

This set includes a topic that I'm sure many of us have wondered about: "Do your classmates know you're former idols?" (starting at 6:38). So much so that they put it in the title of the video. (Git dem clicks, bay-bee!)
The grammar is a bit weird, though. With the positioning of the particles and the lack of plural forms of both "classmate" and "idol", it can be read as "Do you know your classmate is a former idol?". And that's how both Google and DeepL translate it, but it doesn't make sense because the question is being directed to the idols. Context matters in Japanese, more than in many other languages.
Also, Morito is uncharacteristically talkative in this one; she usually lets Nakajima do most of the talking. And apparently she went skydiving in Hawai'i (starting at 3:42).
EDIT: Fixed link to the video. I don't know how it broke, it was correct when I originally posted this.
