Hello! Study Abroad Channel (20 Feb 2023)
Nakajima and Morito learn about Scotland (yes, that is a haggis in the thumbnail)…
Hello everyone, this is Saki Nakajima.
Today, I visited a party hosted by a neighbor.
Actually more conversations…
I want to record more, but…
I'm on YouTube! I'm so embarrassed that neither Chii-chan nor I can say that we're on YouTube.
We can't tell people around us. LOL!
I guess I'll just have to work on it.
This is [frustrating]. LOL
That's how it's going to be.
Burns Night in Scotland.
I learned by experience: [Scottish flag]
First time I heard bagpipes live! I was so impressed!
Between you and me, I always thought "Hotaru no Hikari" was a Japanese song.
(Specifically, the melody is the same…)
At the end of the song, "Hotarunomitsu" came on
And I mumbled to myself, "Why are they playing a graduation ceremony song?" LOL[She wrote the next part in English.]Hi, it's Saki here!
We visited a neighbor's house for Scotland's traditional Burns Night party.
I wanted to film the conversation, but I wasn't confident to say, "Can I film this talk for YouTube?" my English as wel
Anyway, we had a good experience of Scotland's culture.
I was impressed by the sound of the bagpipes for the first time in my life!
