There's been quite a bit of turnover in H!P recently. If someone just checks in from time to time, a lot of the names will basically be meaningless to them.

I had a dream last night (half awake, half asleep). That I gave a speech at the H!PS awards ceremony. It mentioned amped, Reina I, the Jpop Summit Festival and my up to date joy. Maybe I will post the topic here. erilaz might have a clue since he was at all the Jpop Summit Festivals I went to.

Tanaka Reina won H!PS in 2010 and performed with LoVendoЯ at J-Pop Summit in 2013, so there's that. (Were you at that one, rikkikow?)

HA HA YES! That was the first one that I went to. Can you figure out the Amped part in the speech? Take a guess. What was being said were the thank you’s and recognition's that you hear during awards ceremonies. Let’s work through this and I won’t have to remember the whole thing. Zunu is going to be irritated when the punch line occurs.

Amped was the person who made the announcement here at JPLOP that Reina and LoVendoЯ would be at JPOP SUMMIT FESTIVAL 2013. I never knew there were JPOP SUMMIT FESTIVALS going on, so Amped needed to be recognized during the speech for bringing it to my attention. HA HA By the way erilaz told us how to get there using public trans like he did.

So, it was Reina that got me going to the JPOP FESTIVALS in San Francisco. Reina needed to be recognized for that in the speech too.

Congrats and honor was bestowed upon Reina II’s 2022 win in the speech. I mentioned that during the competition I had discovered an embarrassing misjudgment that I had made five years earlier at the JPOP SUMMIT FESTIVAL 2017 which I needed to rectify. It took five years to come to my attention! Lost years.

2017 was the last JPOP SUMMIT FESTIVAL! Anybody remember who the Headliner was that year?

I did not know who these girls were or their music and I give myself an ‘F’ for flunked for that. Their costumes threw me off and their music genre was over my head too.

They’re the best girl band ever if not the best band ever!

Soooooooooo happy to see Yokoyan win HPS after many years of getting 2nd place.

^ I went to all nine of them, from 2009 to 2017. I was really bummed out by the fact that the 10th Anniversary J-Pop Summit never materialized.

Tell me about it. I check in all the time and I don't know who they are. At H!PS if I don't know who a girl is I vote them off the island. Period. So you guys have to showcase them during the year if they are special in some way. I learn more about the girls during H!PS than any other time. The card deck is a big help that is if they're not on the floor.
