She introduced Country Girls song "Kasa wo Sasu Senpai"

A few weeks ago, she did Berryz Kobo's Happiness Kofuku Kangei

This girl really found a niche in the idol market that we didn't know we needed

Two years later:
Idol Tenki is graduating to become a Host MC, and her last weather report odottemitai was a PERFECT choice: -ute's FINAL SQUALL.

I'm glad she's got bigger things to move on to, but I'll be sad not seeing these clips anymore. Her dancing has improved a lot since she started.

"Go Waist!" isn't one of my favorite songs, so I don't often give it much thought, but earlier today I was watching a YouTube playlist and it came on. Listening to it afresh I suddenly realized that it owes a strong debt to Pachelbel's "Canon," a fact that's immediately obvious in hindsight, but it just never occurred to me before. But I figured someone else must've made the connection so I did a Google search, and came across this 2019 article:

https://www.homicidols.com/why-beyooooo ... g-of-2019/

It's fairly lengthy but if you want to skip to the TLDR portion of the article it states:

Spoiler: show
"BEYOOOOONDS revitalize Hello! Project and cover their own oddball version of a nearly-lost classical song that may have influenced the Soviet National Anthem, later adapted by the producer of a campy disco group as a gay anthem which went on to become a sarcastic commentary on the state of the world, but yet took on new life as a crowd-rockin’ sports jam."

The venue Zepp Tokyo is officially being torn down now. The mall VenusFort has also officially closed down too.

Spoiler: show

"Zepp Tokyo is being torn down.
I was saddened to hear a couple of women nearby crying and talking about their memories, saying that they wanted to bring back some of the rubble like the soil at Koshien."

Idk where to put this, but a rock band called Happy Heads NANIYORI did a rather interesting cover of Ren'ai Revolution 21:

Y'know what? I actually kinda like it.

Not bad! Although I think maybe they could've gone a little harder even.

wota members of the Tokyo University Hello Pro Research Club participated in it and performed 3 different times, dancing and sometimes singing. They also performed other idol songs in their other idol clubs. Some Hello Pro Research Club members are from the Unidol group "TodaiMusume"
