- This week on Hello Dream, behind the scenes and digest of the Hello! Pro Kenshuusei September 2021 Recital ~STARS~ performance in Tokyo.

- Previous episodes, we had footage from the Osaka performance. Now we have footage from the Tokyo performances.
- Kenshuusei arrive at Zepp Tokyo in the morning, greet everyone and start rehearsing.
- new Yoshida and Kawashima rehearse their song. Mitsubachi wasn't pleased with their shaky start.
- Yoshida and Kawashima were suddenly added in last minute for the next song, Animal Land. They had to learn the dance on the fly. Both lost and confused to know their positions. Mitsubachi is being strict on them.
- Kawashima was crying during that rehearsal and her interview. She was frustrated. She hopes to do better and practice, because she loves the song Animal Land.
- Suddenly a quick "MC audition" is being held to choose which member will get a chance to say the last MC greeting at both performance
- MC Araken noticed that in previous recitals, the Kenshuusei don't get to say much at the end of a performance. They only wave goodbye and leave. It feels awkward. He wants them to the say a last greeting just like their seniors do.
- Each Kenshuusei gets a try at saying "Everyone at Zepp Tokyo, Thank you coming today!" MC Araken decides on Matsubara Yulia (Night) and Uemura Hasumi (Day).
- 15 minutes before the start, Kenshuusei are backstage getting their steps correct. Then 5 minutes before, everyone is getting into position.
- A digest of the STARS recital (day) performance is shown.
- Yoshida and Kawashima both had fun performing their song and "Animal Land"
- Kenshuusei performance of "Upside down girl" is shown
- At the (night) performance, they showed a digest of Kenshuusei performing "Koi no UFO Catcher", "Moonlight Night", and "Hankouki"

Interviewer : When I was watching the program, I was shocked to hear that the addition of four members to the group is not a done deal, and that there's a possibility of adding more members.

Ishiguri : That's right, we really don't know what will happen until our debut.

Yonemura : I don't mind if the number of members keeps increasing. If you want, you can add up to 48 members (laughs).

Saito : Ahaha! It would be a group with a completely different concept.

Kubota : There are definitely advantages for groups to increase the number of members. Especially since Hello! Project attracts a lot of attention for its performances, it would be good for the group to have more power in that area.
It's a good thing. But when it comes to me personally, I'm always thinking about small things like "I might not be able to sing as much" or "How can I differentiate my character?" (laughs).

Kitahara : The four of us who joined in July were trainees, but the next four might be from the general public. We're holding auditions, so I'm even more nervous when I think about that.

Nakayama : But ya know~ there are a lot of groups with more than 10 members in Hello! Project nowadays. The balance of the eight of us is very good, so I hope we can make our debut with the current group.

--You often show off your love for Yakult drink in the MCs for the trainees, which you say it was also influenced by her mother.



Hirayama : My mother is a Yakult lady. But I really feel that Yakult is the best, and I drink it all the time! Yakult contains a lactic acid bacteria called Shirota strain, which can reach the intestines in a live state. So, in addition to regulating the intestinal environment, it can also be expected to reduce stress and improve the quality of sleep.

--Thank you for your smooth explanation (LOL). By the way, what kind of a kid were you at school, Hirayama-san?

Hirayama : I was more of a leadership type kid. I didn't take a position as a kids student council president or anything like that. Once, a kid in my class did something that made the teacher leave the classroom in a fit of rage. They were still small at the time, so some of them started crying and others were scowling and fussing. So I said "Everyone, we all need to calm down in times like these!" I was just trying to keep the class together (LOL).
