At the H!P Summer concert in Nagoya, there were posters up in the lobby for the new member auditions. It has a QR code that leads to the site.

Judging Method

Preliminary screening

Document screening will be conducted. Please send your application by mail or through the application form.
1) Designated application form (must be signed and sealed by a person with parental authority)
3 photos (1) Close-up of face, 2) Full body, 3) Free.
No "Purikura" photos.
Photos must be taken within the last month.
The maximum size of each photo is 3MB.
Please do not retouch or otherwise alter the photos after they have been taken.
Please do not retouch the photo after it is taken.

Second screening

An online interview will be held.

Please make sure that you can receive e-mails from newface2021@helloproject-audition.com.
Only successful applicants will be notified of the results of the first screening by mid-September.
If we do not hear from you by the end of September, your application will be rejected.

They kind of have to since Nogizaka is running their audition at the same time. It is a fight to see who finds the best talent first.

I'd like to write about my feelings for those who are not sure whether to take the audition or not.

I auditioned for the first time in the ANGERME ONLY ONE audition, but there was a time when I was going to apply for Morning Musume. '19's LOVE audition in 2019.

At the time, I wanted to audition.

But I didn't have a smartphone, and I was in the middle of taking my high school exams, so I thought I'd ask my mother after the exams were over.

But then, to my surprise, the application deadline was the morning of the day of my high school exam!

When I came home, I was already too late. I regretted that I should have applied even if I had to shave a few hours off my study time.

You can control the future, but you can't control the regrets of the past. If you're not sure about the future, I think it's OK to just send in your application!

The audition CM is playing for 1 week (started Aug. 8th) at arount Tokyo JR East station lines in KIOSK convenience stores using an ad company called "NewDays Vision" (the largest network signage / advertising in the Tokyo area)

The advertising fee in Tokyo area for 15 sec can range from 40,000 yen to 900,000 yen (Shinjuku) depending on the station
