This week, the Kenshuusei all have a remote meeting to prepare for their Nakano Sun Plaza solo live on April 17th. Plus a bunch of surprise announcements. Also Takahiro Sakurai is still narrator.
- They start off with the Kenshuusei gathering for a video call meeting with their manager regarding their Nakano performance on 4/17. The Kenshuusei were at home, while the Kenshuusei Unit members were at the office. There are quite a lot of surprise announcements made and lots of reaction faces. The Hello Dream twitter calls it a "Surprise Announcement Rush", so get ready.
~ First the manager announced the title of their solo live : "Hello Pro Kenshuusei 2021 First Solo Live ~Episode Zero~"
~ The setlist is going to be exclusively Hello Pro Kenshuusei songs, in both daytime and evening performances.
~ The Kenshuusei Unit members get to decide themselves any 2 Kenshuusei songs they want to perform.
~ Next, the manager announced that Kenshuusei will also be split into 2 teams for another project. She announces the members for each team :
The first team is Nakayama, Hiromoto, Nishizaki, Ebata, Yofuu, Uemura, and Arisawa. This team of 7 members of the the Kansai region team will be called "Nishi (West) Team".
The second team is Yamada, Matsubara, Onoda, Hashida, Hirayama, Kitahara, Murakoshi, and Ishiyama for the Kanto region team. They will be called "Higashi (East) Team".
~ The manager says both teams will perform 2 songs. The team rehearsals will be done in Tokyo and Osaka to accommodate both of them.
~ Then a surprise announcement! "Team Tamamushi" will be showing off their performance of Juice=Juice's song "Watashi ga Iu Mae ni Dakishimenakya ne" in both daytime and evening performances at Nakano.
~ Then another surprise announcement! "Team White" and "Team Kurenai" will get to perform "Watashi ga Iu Mae ni Dakishimenakya ne" one time as well. "Team White" will perform it at the daytime performance, and "Team Kurenai" will perform in the evening. "Team White" will bring their "fake falsetto" part to the performance, and "Team Kurenai" will show off their original dance. This will show the teachers how much they kept practicing and improved.
~ Both "Nishi Team" and "Higashi Team" members express their thoughts. "Team White" and "Team Kurenai" leaders also comment about their team redeeming themselves.
All of this was only half the episode.
~ The Kenshuusei Unit members leave the meeting, leaving the 15 Kenshuusei in. They are in for another surprise announcement.
~ Their manager makes announcement regarding the "Spring Public Ability test" in May.
~ She says that at the daytime performance's MC corner of their Nakano solo live, they will each be revealing their song to be sung for the ability test, one by one to the audience. So, the rule is that they must decide their song to sing by the April 17th daytime performance and cannot to reveal it to anyone before then. That is already next week. Watch their reactions.
~ She also says that at the Nakano evening performance, the order of singing for the Spring Ability test will be also decided by lottery in front of the audience. That is all for their announcements. They express how they feel after.
~ Back to the Kenshuusei Unit members in the office, they have their own discussion to decide which 2 they want to perform. For the first song, they all agreed that they want to perform "Real☆Little Girl", since it isn't a song that isn't sung or seen that often. For the second song, they give other suggestions first. They ultimately decided on "Koi Shitai Shinto". They really want to try singing both songs because they like the lyrics.
~ As for how they will practice together, Kubota says they should follow the example of "Team White" and practice online together.
Juice=Juice's DOWN TOWN MV is the ending theme song.
So to recap announcements :

Thanks for the rundown, as usual Amped. It's really helpful to have while watching. This time especially with how many announcements there were.
