Morning Musume. '20 Makino Maria becomes the image character for her high school alma mater, "Renaissance High School", promoting a "High school revolution"
Makino Maria, a member of Morning Musume. '20, and has been appearing in gravure and fashion magazines as a "visual queen", has been named the new spokesperson for her former high school, Renaissance High School, from which she graduated.
In 2014, Makino joined Morning Musume in the eighth grade of Junior high school, and after graduating from junior high school, she enrolled in Renaissance High School in April 1st, 2016. While continuing her busy entertainment career, she studied online and completed the courses while attending the school 4 days a year, and graduating from the school in March 31st, 2019.
Makino, who acts as the image character of her alma mater, will appeal to students that there is a school that doesn't stick to the existing high school life style. She will share her own experiences while using the school slogan "High school revolution" (a high school with freedom, without restrictions on the time and place of commuting to school).

A number of graduates like Makino are active in various fields such as entertainment, arts and sports. Some of the students have studied abroad in Korea for performing arts and lessons, while others have been living in Europe for ballet lessons.
