This is another good example of how each of us receives and interprets the same news differently. You seem intent on clarifying what "mathematically proven to be possible" actually means in practical terms, so that no one misinterprets it to mean something more than it actually does. In other words, no one has created a working theory of time travel, much less actually invented a time machine. I took that for granted, however, and then jumped to the next implication: free will is mathematically insignificant.

Just an FYI for anyone who uses or dabbles in Windows art software, Humble Bundle is selling Corel Paintshop Pro 2020 and Painter 2020 for $30 combined. The 2021 editions are already out so these are technically "obsolete" but in practice the year to year improvements are minimal. They are full, perpetual licenses, not trials or limited edition software. Painter alone originally retailed for $429 and I think about $179 for the upgrade, so this is an extremely steep discount. As generally with the Humble Bundle, it's a temporary offering.

Needless to say this is not paid advertising or an affiliate link, just something I came across that I thought one or two folks here might perhaps be able to make use of.

(I legitimately still have Photoshop Creative Suite 2 installed in my systems, so a program being "obsolete" by one year is obviously fine by me. )

The old school art programs are having a hard time competing with the app versions you can get free or for pennies compared to the computer versions. I may need to fire up the ol’ computer and grab this deal. $30 is a good deal!

Yeah I think a lot of people do art on their tablets these days. Pen, touch screen, crisp resolution, more intuitive, paper-like experience. Those older apps don't really have a touchscreen optimized user interface and a lot of the big money features only come into play if you're regularly doing pro work. For most people most of the time, something like Procreate or the Affinity suite is good enough.

I pay monthly for Adobe CC (had a couple months free after buying my PC) but wow, what a steal on the Corel stuff. Thanks for the info, Zunu!
