There is something horribly wrong with any system, industry, form of entertainment, or pop subculture that idolizes young people, then drives them to suicide, or even just stands by while they kill themselves. (I know it isn't just Kpop, either, by any stretch of the imagination - it's pretty much everywhere, and it can include drug overdoses and other self-destructive actions as well as clearly identifiable cases of suicide).
On a more cheerful note, Ebichu is back with a new MV (minus Ayaka, who's on hiatus). They've been morphing into adult Ebichu for some time now, and thy MV really shows it, I think. It looks to me as if they're also moving into Wack territory, stylistically -- there are a lot of things in the MV itself, the choreography, and the overall look that remind me strongly of BiSH, EMPiRE, and Carry Loose. I like it, and I like what they're doing.
