Btw, Eiken (英検) is an English proficiency test in Japan. Mei grade is pre-2 (high school level) while Rio grade is 3 (junior high school level).

If I were in my teens, I'd probably swing towards Mei because I was obsessed with Panda's in high school. I still have a trash bag full of them in storage that I haven't gotten rid of. But it's interesting how your idol tastes change as you get older. Now, mind you, my picks are all subject to change because I haven't heard them sing. That's a big factor in me picking idols to support. I hope we don't have to wait forever for audition footage or anything like that. I'm anxious to see what they've got.
