I think I have changed my mind. My new pointless musing/unfounded fan theory (based on the timing of Haruna's announcement and the date of her graduation) is that next year Iikubo Haruna will be the new Pink Super Sentai, being a self-sufficient girly-girl Pink.
a new organization called SYNC NETWORK JAPAN has been created to oversee and promote Japanese artists globally overseas. SYNC NETWORK JAPAN has registered over 2,000 Japanese artists from 2011 to 2017 in many different countries including X JAPAN and Morning Musume's booking to a convention in the United States https://www.barks.jp/news/?id=1000159016
So, Kago's return: one time thing for the big anniversary or could we conceivably see more of her with H!P/UF in the future? I'm not expecting her to suddenly be added to M-Line, but then again nobody ever thought this day would come either.
I think this at least opens the door to her being included in some OG/celebratory things down the line. I think I'd be surprised if Up-Front signed her again, but.. yeah, I guess that doesn't seem like the most impossible thing anymore.
But then we have Ayappe participating constantly and she is happy at her agency too. So unless it means theres a merit to signing an OG, I don't really see her returning.
I'm more interested in wondering whether the people that have left showbiz are interesting in making an appearance somewhat... Would love to see a 6th gen reunion.
(And where the heck is Aika? It seems she's still overseas but what is she doing)

She's been with the same agency since 2016 but it seems to be a pretty small one. Her website says she has a fanclub though, so at least there's that, lol.
