I agree with Nayok. Even though it'd be nice to have her help out a new group, she's already doing that with Hokkaido KSS so it wouldn't be fair for her to do that concurrently and also restart again in a new group. I feel like this is why adding her to J=J makes sense. Also Angerme is out of the question with how exhausting their schedules and dances are.

Thank you very much for your continued support of Hello！ Project.
Inaba Manaka, who is presently doing activities as a soloist,
Will be added to Juice=Juice and participate in their activities from this summer’s Hello！ Project concerts.

She had been undergoing medical treatment since April 2016 but has since moved on and returned to activities since September 2017.
As she carried out activities such as this winter’s Hello！ Project concerts and activities out of Hokkaido,
We observed that there were no difficulties with her physical condition, and thusly decided that she would shift towards even more typical activities.
She will also continue on with her current activities in Hokkaido.

The unveiling will be on the opening day of
「Hello! Project 20th Anniversary!! Hello! Project 2018 SUMMER ～ALL FOR ONE～」

Good evening everyone.



Thank you very much for all your support.



An announcement was made just now on the official Home Page
And there’s also a video about it on Hello！ Station
But I, Inaba Manaka,
Will be joining Juice＝Juice.




I think you’ll understand
Once you watch Hello！ Station
But the announcement was so sudden
That even I myself was really really surprised.



I couldn’t say a word at first.




I’m sure that all of you are surprised as well
And that there must be all sorts of thoughts playing in your heads…



I was told that I would be joining an existing group
And that I would be immediately brought to see that group.
And so
While I still didn’t have a proper grasp of the situation
I was brought to see the group…




On the other side of the door
All of Juice＝Juice were waiting
With smiles on their face.



Before my mind could process things
I was hit by a surge of tears.



Being a 5-member group for the longest time
And with the addition of 2 new members
They’ve had 7 members
I had to ask myself
Whether I actually was joining such a wonderful group.

Am I worthy enough to join them?


That was the big question in my mind.



However, all the members of Juice＝Juice
Welcomed me really warmly
From the bottom of my heart, I’m glad and grateful.



I’ve studied singing and dancing from when I was 4 years old
Always chasing after my dreams
Supported by my family and many others.



I was really happy
That I was able to be a H!P Kenshuusei
In Hello！ Project, which I loved and admired
And that I got to make a major debut
As part of Country Girls.



The time I spent
As a member of Country Girls
Wasn’t particularly long
But for me, every day was fulfilling
And I made many precious memories
That were indispensable to my life。



I had to graduate
From Country Girls
Due to chronic asthma
Which inconvenienced
Many people
Including the members.


I caused concern…



Even now, I feel truly sorry…



I reaffirmed my feelings
As I went through rehabilitation
I made my comeback
In my beloved Hello！ Project
And right now, I’m able to hold activities in good health
Just that is joy enough for me…



And yet, I never thought
That the day would come
When I would once again be having activities in a group.



I don’t know
How I should endeavor
In order to catch up with the current circumstances.



But at any rate
Even when I made my comeback
I wanted to convey to all of you
That I hadn’t forgotten my feelings of gratitude and my original purpose
So I’d like to give my all
In everything I encounter.



I think that there’s meaning
To the joys and trials that I’ve been given
As well as to the hurdles that are awaiting me in the future
So I’d like to face and deal with each and every one of them
Properly, in my own way.


More than anything
Even when I was undergoing treatment and made my comeback…


There were people who supported me
Throughout all those times
So I’d like to do my best
In order to pay them back as much as possible.


As Juice＝Juice’s Inaba Manaka
I’ll perform to my utmost best
And I’ll do my best
To deliver my love to all of you.

Our new comrade is someone who’s presently a solo act
Inaba Manaka-chan.

Who’ve been with us from our major debut,

About 1 year ago
2 new members joined us.


1 year ago when the 2 members joined us
At first
We original members
Were really uneasy about it,


But this time, it’s different.



We’re looking forward
To how Juice=Juice will further evolve
After Manaka-chan joins us.


I think that this sudden news
Must have surprised all of you,

But we hope that
Your anticipation towards
Juice=Juice’s future
Will overwhelm that feeling of surprise


We’ll all do our best to make that happen！！



Juice=Juice has come this far
As a collection of members
Whose careers and ages are all scattered.

We’ll keep on
Supporting each others’ strengths and weaknesses

An announcement was made yesterday…
Guess what！！

Inaba Manaka-chan will be joining Juice=Juice


The sudden announcement must have surprised all of you.
Apologies for the surprise.


2 people joined Juice=Juice as new members last year and we’ve been doing our best as a 7-member group for the past one year.

When that happened, we hadn’t experienced getting additional members in our group… So I was uneasy at first, and yet that unease got blown away somewhere almost immediately！

I’m falling in love again with the new Juice=Juice


And so, how do I put this,
This time around, that unease honestly wasn’t even there to begin with.

The only thing is to look forward to the 8-member Juice=Juice with Manaka-chan added to our ranks！


Of course, I’m flustered.

Manaka-chan has her ability to talk steadily and her reallllllly hyper cool dancing and her gentle personality and her character.

I’ve always seen her as someone who’s amazing and wonderful.


From now on, I feel like I want to steal as much of Manaka-chan’s strengths as possible！ It’ll drive me to work even harder.

While I may feel that way

I’m sure that Manaka-chan must be full of unease right now.

- The buses made a stop at a service area for a quick break. Manakan made her surprise appearance and got on the bus. Manakan is the bus guide with her hat. Fans got to see her up close and really cute. Suzuki Keita also appears.
- Bus Tour VTR show "Manakan no Menkoi SHOW" : in the video Manaka talks about her travels to Hakodate as a little girl. She went to Noboribetsu Bear Park to feed bears and she got to feed deer too.
