The first thing I thought about what that the Johnny's company at least did the right thing... a first for them when it comes to underage kids, eh? (YEAH I SAID IT). Forever side eyeing them, though.
Tove Styrke's Sway album is pure pop perfection. I wasn't too into her cover of Lorde's "Liability" because I loved the original, but everything else is amazing. Also, whenever I see video clips of her talking she's just the most adorable person.

That's a crazy list of cities!
Tonight was the Kansas City show. YUIMETAL was not present. ゆいちゃん and YUIMETAL is trending on twitter, as people speculate her departure from the group.
Produce 101 season is upon us officially, is any one planning on watching it since it's a bunch of girls again? It looked great, literally the only person I recognized from the AKB side was Jurina, but it went pretty fast. Sakura is really cute. The song is catchy as hell.
I know it's half AKB48, but I'm really looking forward to it.
I'll be watching it again, thanks to the return of an all girls season (I'm also watching the China all-girls version currently airing).
I don't think I'll recognize more than two or three faces overall (probably mostly on the Korean side, if girls from past competitions show up), so I'm going in picking favorites blind like I did the first season. I doubt I follow them much post-show, so it doesn't matter either way.
Edit: Oh dang, there's an After School member in there. (Former now, I guess?) That she would need to do a show like this is kind of sad considering the high After School was riding at one point. I imagine she'll be popular.
Half of it being *48 members is exactly why I'm gonna bother watching the darn thing. Iwatate Saho has the exact same birthday as me, so I know who I'm rooting for!
I never thought I'd be defending the 48G's this much ever, but in the last two days I'm been championing them as hard as I do Momusu sometimes because of Produce 48 holy moly. Let me tell you how many Kpop fans think Jpop idols are inferior.
