Lol, that thought crossed my mind but there are plenty of H!P solo songs that don't have an empty feeling so I'm not sure.
I'm okay with Takechan getting the nod though. Or any/all of them, w/e.

I like S/mileage even without my favorite member after all. The PV made me like Fuyuka a lot more.

And with Fuyuka gone, I can only hope we get Takechan and Kana. Even if just Takechan that'd be fine. All I know is that she has to get in.

I can't bring myself to like this single although I should. Saki and Fuyuka Take-chan is my only hope.

Single is bleh. It's just the same cute, bland-ish S/mileage single fodder we've been getting, but without Saki's voice to give it depth. Doesn't help that the submembers were nothing but annoying springs in the background of the PV.

I don't get all the Take-chan love. I watched that concert. She was by far the worst vocally. They all seemed pretty fine on the dancing, so can't really judge that too well, but... pair her bad singing with her height and strange, derp-y face and just... no.
and honestly-honestly? Complain all you want about new girls "dragging down S/mileage vocally", but the main three weren't even singing very well during most of the concert. Meimi sounded great on so many of her lines. Whatever, y'alls. :rolls:

They weren't vocal powerhouses, but they absolutely always performed live. TV, concerts, everywhere. I really love that about S/mileage and I guess that's simply not going to be the case anymore.

And I liked Takechan since Shin Minimoni

I've only barely watched the PV and the concert not at all. What has sold me on Takechan is the Mechaike special. She has incredible personality and attitude, without an annoying schtick like Kanon's.

Making Ninety-Nine and the rest of Mechaike stand there while she read the entire list of TV shows she watches… priceless.

For that, I can forgive any deficiencies in singing or dancing. Being an idol is more than that.

Takechan has great vocals. I don't know what the hell was going on in the concert they streamed on Youtube, no one sounded good except for Ayaka who sounded better than usual. Kanon has a cold obviously but aside from that? No idea.
However, in the concert rips we hear her hit those notes in Yume miru 15 without problem.
But what makes me love her so much is like Cel said, her personality. Also, she's an amazing dancer. The other members might have the same moves down, but Takechan is sharp and cool in her dancing, the others don't have that. I'd say she's even challenging the original members.
