[8/23] Juice=Juice 1st digital single "Fiesta! Fiesta!"

Wouldn't this be their 3rd digital single technically?

As mentioned, this digital release is referred to as the first single not just by the composer of the song (Eric Furusato) but also Juice Juice members on their blog.

The previous songs are seen as songs that are weird, experimental or would never be released physically otherwise (as part of the Upcoming special corner). This is a shame as Goal and the other one are such good songs.

If it isn't too much trouble, can you provide links to the (or just a) particular blog posts where they refer to it as their 1st digital single? I've worked on categorization regarding their digital releases twice now and don't want to go through it again without being able to double-check.

If they released the instrumentals with this release then I'd say it's a true digital release almost boarding on EP. If they have actually made the effort and given this a real cover instead of using a stock photo, than it's a true digital single. I'd classify the other songs as almost indie singles, but released digitally until otherwise noted. (They get released on an album or stuffed into physical release single.)

I tried to quickly look through 2-3 pages worth of blog posts around the time they started performing as 7 members. It would take too much time to look through 13+ pages worth of posts of the past weeks. Here's what I found:

Yuka and Sayuki call this release a digital single. Tomoko calls the cat song (she sang with Haruna) just a 'song' for instance. Karin also refers to this release as a digital single and that its distribution is different from past releases (I presume past singles).

I unfortunately can't find an exact quote them calling this a first single, but they are clearly making a distinction between this song and previous songs released digitally along with calling this a digital single.

Goal and 如雨露 are referred as songs and not digital singles.

Today, Yanagawa and Danbara filmed their first MV with Juice=Juice for their first digital single "Fiesta! Fiesta!". They said Miyamoto Karin was there to film the MV with Juice=Juice as well. The outfits will be revealed later.

Announced today at Juice=Juice's Summer Station live, Miyazaki Yuka says "Fiesta! Fiesta!" itself will be available for download ahead of time on iTunes tomorrow (8/2)
