Today we had a campaign and an event in Sendai, Ishida-san's home town.

The costume is the one that looks like casual clothes, from Tokyo to iu Katasumi. It's not the pink one! And it's kinda rare.

I'm wearing a knit cap. It's my favorite part of this costume. It is my first time to wear something like a hat:) haha

I didn't dislike the video, but it made some odd choices. Like the weird cranberry juice color grading of the portion inside the soundstage. What was the reason for that? The whole soundstage vs. wall/corridor shots, It was like they took two entirely different videos and spliced them together, which I would probably normally be happy about. But the wall/corridor shots seemed like they were telling a story and I wanted to know more about that story then the poorly shot/graded soundstage portion. I am really liking the song, it's so dramatic with those frantic Jiriri Kiteru-like strings and the irrefutability of "IRU!" As for the dance, it looks like it has real pop and energy during the chorus, but I find that the quick cuts have the effect of dampening the energy transmitted to the viewer. That blob at 1:48?? I'm really not seeing any useful purpose being served by that.

This is how I feel about the video to a T. And honestly I think if they would have had different outfits for the dance shot it would have helped this video a lot. Maybe short black dresses? And more of the corridor shots, but with something that links to the dance shot?

PS: I hate Utakata Saturday Night (sorry just not my type of song) but I can bet any amount of money that it will have an AMAZING PV because that's how H!P rolls (and probably the reason it was moved to the main A -Side. (It should have been Tokyo to Katasumi imo)

Also The Vision: beautiful song, Toki Sora vibes, PV isn't anything special (just seems like a less nice version of the oh my wish PV. Like buying the cheap generic store brand cereal instead of the commercial one.) although the dance is nice and I still like those outfits.

Utakata Saturday Night is LOVE. Very reminiscent of Golden Era MM. It's got a completely infectious tune, as well. I cannot wait for the PV.

This single was so beautifully crafted...perhaps it's on par with the OMW single...perhaps it's even better.

Also, The Vision's PV is so sweet. LOVE those chandelier shots. I imagine the full PV will be great. All of 12ki are finally getting solos, too!
