^ That was pretty much assumed, wasn't it? Given the style of music, costumes, and dance that we'd seen already? That entire aesthetic — boogie-woogie, rockabilly, the '50 diner, the greaser, the poodle skirt and mary janes — is almost as iconic in Japanese pop culture as it is in American pop culture.
