Well. That was unexpected. I know there are a lot of possible reasons and we'll probably never actually know, but I do wonder why the lack of graduation/celebratory sendoff.

(Sorry, BerryzCelebration. Just when you were falling for her.)

That was unexpected and a bit strange at this point in the groups history that it's a sudden graduation without a grad concert or event.

Reading her blog post I can understand why she's leaving, it's a bit the same as Kanyon. Both have been part of the extended H!P/Up-Front family for the same time. They are about the same age, Akkyan is a bit older of course, but at that age 2 years doesn't matter too much. Both had a name change of the group they had been part of for a long time. Both want to go ahead in their life pursuing new challenges.

I'm glad that I got to meet her again and see her live one final time earlier this year. But she will be missed, I hope her graduation won't break the solidness of the group.


I can only wish her the best with all the new hops, steps and jumps in her new life!

Noooo not my favorite! She was just so awesome and talented and ugh.. I'm going to miss her too much. I knew I shouldn't have gotten attached.

Best of luck to her and her dreams. I'll be blasting Never Never Give Up all day in my bedroom in memory of her huge contributions to CBC as a performer.

It's unfortunate, but if she only enjoys the job 20% of the time, it's probably for the best that she finds something else to do. The name change makes more sense in a way now. They knew that one of the members wasn't feeling into it, and they thought that maybe a change would be the spark to get her back into the group. It hasn't been, and she's being honest & open about it.
She'll be missed.

("Cinquetti" for a now-four-member group, though? I wonder if they'll even address the issue (" The fifth member is the fans!! "), or change it ("Cinq You" [because French for 4, and thank you, and being in sync]), or just leave it be. ^^;;;

She was oshimen, I'm heartbroken that she's leaving but even more heartbroken to learn how little she enjoyed what she did everyday for 11 years.

Boinsie you say French for 4 in "Cinq You" but uhhhh Cinq means five so I'm confused what you mean ^^;

Cinquetti is more a reference to the name of an italian singer than a "cinquet" afaik?

Looking back at THE Possible showrooms, you can kind of tell she didn't really enjoy it. She seems more distant from the other four and she seems really tired tbh. Seeing this, and the statement she made, I'm kinda glad she left in a way. Sad because I got so attached to her, but happy because she's not forcing herself to be unhappy/uncomfortable anymore.
