Also I'm so jealous! Your karaoke place has super-recent songs? With actual official PVs?? The place I've gone up here is at least a year behind on the groups they have recent stuff from and for other groups it's hit-and-miss, or completely devoid. No Kikka at all. T^T

^It's amazing! It runs on Premier DAM so it doesn't have EVERY song (which sucks because i wanna do Omoide and Ren'ai Moyou by berryz but they're not there...) and it doesn't have songs that have only some of the girls singing from each group. ex: kirari to hikaru hoshi, tokimeku tokimeke, etc.
But it still has a LOT of songs. xD
And most of the videos are of weird japanese people doing weird things, but there are the occasional ones that use the PV's.

There's no better Karaoke place in your area? :O

Maybe you can try inquiring about what Japanese Karaoke system the karaoke joints have. If you find any places with the "DAM" systems (like, for clubDAM, which MM.'15 just did a promo with), then see which "DAM" system it is and you can use the clubDAM website to find song numbers (which is what we did).

^^You probably did, but to be doubley sure (nen ni wa nen~ ) did you look them up by song or using the girls' names? I thought DAM had at least one of those.. They're not under "Morning Musume". Last time I went to Karaoke, my group sang both of those, but honestly, I can't remember if we were Joysound or DAM that time around.

In general if they run on DAM or Joysound you're going to have an amazing H!P selection. H!P tends to get A LOT of their songs on karaoke, including a lot of their b-sides. It's way more than pretty much any other Japanese act I sing Kikka's list, for example, is highly depressing.

^ I typed using the song names and tokimeku tokimeke isn't available on the Premier DAM but it is on the Live Dam and Live Dam Studio.
Kirari to hikaru hoshi isn't showing up at all on the search results though, maybe i'm typing something wrong (I typed キラリ and it gave me 3 songs).
omoide (berryz) is also in a similar situation to tokimeku tokimeke, it's on one of the Dam systems, but not Premier DAM.

Aside from the handful of b-sides/album songs that aren't there, there's still a buncha songs that's definitely on the Premier DAM system, and 6~7 hours is never enough to get through everyone's songs. There's always a buncha songs we'd still wanna sing/hear someone else sing that we don't get around to but is in the system lol

Also, I see that there's the "song request" option on the clubDAM website? My Japanese isn't good enough to make it out but does that mean songs that aren't available can be requested to be added to their systems? If so, have you tried this, and/or is this something that actually works, cause like...nen ni wa nen please lol

I came across an old group recording of Shabondama that we in jpopmusic.com put together in 2003 as a forum!!! If you have delicate ears or easily get nauseated, you may want to skip this.
Another forum, MM-BBS, at one time actually made a parody of this recording some time later. Hopefully I can dig that up somewhere as well.

^ I didn't join till 2006 but I downloaded the better member recordings that were done. I even
made a CD of them for myself. I can't remember how it all came to an end. I think because everyone was remote
it was difficult to keep everyone on the same page and happy. I was amazed.
