...But Kyu, there is a difference between Berryz coming to America for entertaining us and making money for UF, and Berryz coming to America because there are Wota in the US (and other countries) that will miss Berryz, and will never be able to afford a flight to Japan and in that case will never get to see Berryz again...
I don't think UF* is THAT inhumane.... o.o

@Jon, The one thing I am afraid about after Berryz ends is, what if.... what if the final few singles by the group are bad? If they release every 4 months like usual H!P releases, that leaves 3 singles left, aka 6 songs. They're definitely gonna have an album. but.... 3 singles? that just doesn't seem enough. XD
And also, Once they end.... there won't be any new content... and.... I'm gonna want new Berryz content. :P No new content to look forward to. Quite saddening.

The girls are leaving on a high note and on their terms, they can be proud of their hard work and dedication.
I'm not shocked but feel nostalgic.
I wish them all great success in doing what's makes them happy.

I think what usually happens is they oshihen, so hopefully that works out with the new groups.

Idk about you guys, but since there are so many new girls, I still associate them as being "new" and "young" even if they've been around for a good 3+ years and have hit puberty like a parent.
HP right now has a lot of youthful lolis, a lot of girls who are younger than they look. I hope we get more physically mature and sexy girls in HP soon tbh.
I'm starting to miss older groups like Taiyou to Ciscomoon, Melon Kinennbi and V-uden in HP.

Also if MM haven't sold out their NYC concert, I doubt Berryz would tag along.

They're not inhumane. That's just the nature of the business. They love that the girls have fans in other countries, it's just that sending them there for an engagement that is purely for the fans and not for profit might be difficult.

I'm seeing all those calls for the girls to come to America... and I find them pretty selfish. The Paris concert with °C-ute was probably meant as their last international event. Remember that they weren't confirmed right away unlike °C-ute, so it was probably a special "treat" for them/international fans. If they really want to go back overseas, I'm pretty sure they would pick Thailand as their only stop because they have history there. You can't expect them to go to New York (or Paris, or any destination) as Morning Musume are coming in October and Berryz went overseas just last month. It's not how it works, we're not entitled to a extra concert outside of Japan "just because" they will disband.

Japan matters the most. Most of their loyal fans are in Japan. I'm convinced Berryz will spend their last 6-8 months together in Japan, doing events for the fans and being featured in things that will help their post-Berryz career.

^But that's exactly the point- the France thing was picked because they'll probably never get to go to France again, so UF probably wanted their French (or that area of europe) fans to get a Berryz concert before the end. ...But that doesn't mean they won't come to America. They are one of H!P's biggest acts... they wouldn't just disband without a proper goodbye. They visited Europe now, that's I guess a goodbye to their European fans...?
But as for US/South America, don't you think Berryz would want to go one last time? (after all, Berryz has a LOT of south american/mexican fans. XD)

On another note completely, every Berryz song's lyrics now applies to berryz themselves.

Depends really on what their definition of a "proper send off" is. I honestly believe that Up Front letting them announce the end of their group and when is a proper send off. They and the fans have basically a year to celebrate Berryz Kobo before they finally bow out. That's as good a send off as any.

The thing I don't like is people who can't seem to let go. Yeah, it sucks that they're gonna graduate and stuff. I get that. People can be sad about it.

But some people are acting like it's the end of the world and that Berryz should be around forever or whatever and do this and that to please fans. I dunno if people realise this, but idols are people too. There is nothing "special" about them, other than their ability to perform and/or entertain. Most of these girls were average, everyday kids/teenagers before auditioning... heck, some of them still are (as average as you can be as a celebrity I guess).

Saying things like "DON'T LEAVE" and stuff is, imo, rather selfish. These girls have given up twelve fucking years of their lives that they're never going to get back, and I'm sure a big part as to why they've lasted so long is because of their fans.

They've given you more than they should've. The most you can do is be respectful and accept their decisions to move on with their lives. They're all adults now. Maybe, I dunno, some fans need to grow up a bit as well :whistling: .

Also, this is a perfectly good time to close up the old workshop. It's had a fucking good run and deserves a break.

I'm sad about it, definately, but if they want to move on with their lives, that's fine. I'll miss them, but I'm proud that they're growing up and finding new things to do with their lives.

I just hope all 7 have something to do, since only 2/7 (Isn't Yurina in college?) went to college.
