am i the only one that thinks this just straight up a waste of money?

whats the point of advertising and wasting time to make videos like these with minimal impact? you're making videos for people who already aware of such releases.
i dont understand...

I doubt sourcing a camera from the office and using a (free) room in their own building for a couple of hours really runs a high enough bill to be bothered about. :fear:

The videos probably make them money, even if it isn't a lot of it.

Don't forget the fruit and cake they eat halfway though.
Pretty sure those are a MASSIVE financial drain.
Think of all the billboards they could have put up instead.

...

obviously someone gets paid to manage these girls during recording, the girls get paid themselves, then there's also someone who has to edit these.
it just seems so redundant to me.

They're salaried; they get paid regardless. So if their schedule allows it...

Plus, the Kenshuusei really get some more profit in terms of experience while staying for a couple of hours recording this in front of a camera and with a senpai on their side.
The cost of this is probably minimal, while they're smartly using it to both promote their works and both educate their trainees. Seriously, what else?
