So basically, this is Berryz's first time every hitting a #2, but they have hit a #1 before (Heroin ni Narou ka...)
BUT A SECOND #1 WOULD BE GREAT TOO! lol

And first week, they better be in the top 5.

I don't think they'll hit #1, because the othr group is selling way higher than them

but we can hope!!!
LEt's hope they stay top 3 for the rest of the week!

But the estimated page thingy says that 58,000 people were interested in the single (or rather, 58,000 copies)... So that means that we will probably start seeing better sales over the days???

I do know that saturday and sunday are usually comeback days...
But do you think we will start seeing 5,000 again like, for thursday or friday's sales?

You do not understand how NINKI works.

What is NINKI?

The NINKI ratings are the results of a POLL conducted by Oricon indicating degree of interest/degree of purchase intention in an upcoming release. Although the ratings are never a true reflection of sales, it does give a strong prediction about where the single/album will place in terms of popularity amongst the Japanese public. However, they are NOT an indication of how it will perform in terms of chart positioning and total sales for the week.

NINKI is a poll. The numbers represent the portion of people polled who might buy the single. This number is limited.
Which is why, for instance, AKB48 singles usually top out in the 500.00 range while they easily surpass the million mark.
Morning Musume's 54th single had a NINKI of 94.30 but sold 144.061 copies in its first week.

58.10 for Berryz Kobo does NOT equal 58.100 copies sold.
Moreover, with NINKI apparently being posted the week of release instead of the week before these days, it has essentially become useless.

#11 isn't all that bad, it's just a big drop. But I hope they can pick themselves back up!

1 oku 3 nen man is absolutely amazing. I must have listened to it a million times. Really my favorite Berryz single in a long time. To me it's very Berryz. Not that I can explain what Berryz is just yet, but it just feels right. Also Saki has become perfection.
