Idol CDs sell more because they put so much effort into the extras and multiple editions to keep themselves out on top. I don't know what the other singer's companies do to promote the singles, but I have a feeling they put more stock in the album than the single. If MM could make this effort in their next album and get sales like this, I'd be really impressed and very happy for them.

"TSUKI" was used as theme song for the movie Dakishimetai -Shinjitsu no Monogatari-, "Neonlight Lipstick" was used as a KOSE ESPRIQUE CM song, and "Ballerina" was used both as a GUCCI×Vogue Japan promo song and as a Recochoku CM song.

No, not tie-ins, extras like the photo cards, handshakes, the box set. It seems stuff like that is reserved for idol groups only. You don't see a non-idol singer doing events and sitting around taking pictures with their fans if you buy their CD.

I'm shooting for 250k as like the dream goal for them since theyre still gonna be in the media A LOT these next few weeks, but I think 200k is definitely possibly, MAYBE 225k not sure. But regardless, weekly #1 and beating last single is more than enough joy =)
