Is that battle year thing maybe also referring to the Winter Olympics, considering they're in their Olympic song attire?
As in could be like a double meaning.

Isn't it meant to be revealed on the 20th, at some Olympic event, or is that just a performance that's been announced?

I didn't expect it yet, but it is very weird to leave is so close to release, just over a week of promotion for it.

I assume the Olympic committee (or whoever from that end) are holding it back.

I'm guessing they're keeping it a surprise because of the Olympics or whatever?

I'm sure we'll get something next week.

But lol, this is like how they used to promote things. Nothing until, like, two weeks before the release. Oh UF, you really can't change that much, can you?

I was half expecting it cos I knew they wouldnt show it so early but argh so frustrating cos the single is released only 9 days after the 20th.

If it was just one A-side that'd be bad. But we've gotten the other two A-sides so it's hardly a bad thing. Keeping up the excitement by holding off on one thing until it's really close.
It'd be bad to give everything too early, anyway.

That's quite early. Unless of course the stock was very limited.

Availability of these two editions has also been changed to: "within 1-4 days following release" instead of "on the release date"

Both of these now say "First press available", although the availability is still as mentioned.
