I just found this at Half Price Books in Berkeley:

It's a 265-page book, published in 2010 by the Yale University Press. :blink:

^ It's related to an event that took place at The Museum at The Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC in 2010/2011, also called "Japan Fashion Now". Hangry & Angry's outfits were one of the features in the h.NAOTO section of the exhibition.

"Hirooka Naoto, the designer behind h.NAOTO, Japan’s most successful Gothic-Punk-Lolita fashion empire (who has said, "I aim to be the most extreme and scandalous brand in the world") will be prominently featured. A highlight of the exhibition will be the clothes he designed for idol singers Hangry and Angry."

Received a package from CDJapan that I have been anticipating, mostly because of the clearfile and Magazine freebies XD This is my first time buying a Japanese Magazine that features and Idol group on the cover, but I am glad it was C-ute XD

Also, ignore the Juliet single in there... xD

Sorry for the blurry photo.... anyway~:

The 2 pin-ups are of Riho and Haruna, the Higawari are Maachan and Sakura. Then there are two t-shirt sets (Masaki for me, Sayumi for my sister), two scrunchies (both for me >_>), the kingblade, the dvd magazines, the hoodie, the poster and the black bag to put it all in.

I'm really impressed by the quality of the scrunchies and the paper used for the B2 poster. Also the king blade is super bright compared to some of the other types of pen lights the people around my had.

They've really upped their paper quality this last year, at least when it comes to Morning Musume. The pinups, for instance, used to be printed on somewhat cheap glossy paper that was really thin. They are now printed in thick photo-quality paper. They are muuucchh nicer. (I say Morning Musume only because I recently got C-ute's "Treasure Box" pinups and they were printed on the old paper)

Have you tried Idol!Swap? :)
Many go there to buy goods (concert, events, etc). It's for Idol fans, by Idol fans.
I don't have a job (= no money to spend), but I joined the group anyways. It's fun seeing all the group orders and stuff. ;u;

Too many complaints about the easily, dented and dinged pin-ups results in them using better paper.

I hope it's a trend. I'm tired of the dings every time I get a pinup in the mail.

While I'm here.

I shop with Idol!swap practically every few days, and it's really easy. First you join the group. Then you can either look through people's shops (In the picture section) and see what THEY have for sale or you can go straight for the group orders always pinned at the top of the page. The groups orders are UF-Online, Helloshop.jp, and the Hello!Project Store in Akihabara (We have a buyer who goes there at least once a month for a 15% fee). If you join a group order, you fill out the google document (Easier than it looks and once you join the mods show you to a beginners guide to learn), pay before the deadline and wait (forever, UFP generally takes about a month to deliver any goods) then they send you the goods, you pay for shipping and you get all your nice stuff :3

Idol!swap opened about a year and a half ago (Because people in Hello!Fandom were tired of us splitting in that group >.>) and has become such a valuable resource. I've spent probably 3000-5000$ dollars in there <,<
